Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@bybsydney.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Results typically last 6-8 weeks depending on your lash cycle and aftercare.

Yes. Our formula is gentle, keratin-infused, and free from harsh chemicals. If you have specific sensitivities, we recommend a patch test 24-48 hours before your appointment.

While the treatment is generally safe, we recommend consulting your GP first, and a patch test is required to rule out hormonal sensitivity.

Lash Botox includes the lift and tint but goes further, it nourishes and strengthens lashes with keratin and peptides, promoting long-term health and growth.

Yes. Lash Botox may not be suitable for clients with eye infections, recent eye surgery, or a history of severe allergic reactions to tint, perming, or lifting solutions.

If you have extremely sensitive eyes or skin around the eye area, we recommend booking a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding clients should consult with their healthcare provider, as a precaution.

If you're unsure, feel free to reach out, your safety and comfort are always our priority.

Yes. Eyelash Extensions may not be suitable if you have eye infections (such as conjunctivitis), recent eye surgery, active blepharitis, severe allergies, or chronic eye rubbing or watering.

Certain skin conditions around the eyes, like eczema or dermatitis, can also make the area more reactive.

If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing them before your appointment. Please disclose any concerns prior to your visit so we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

With proper care, your set will last 3-4 weeks. We recommend infill appointments every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness.

Not at all, when applied correctly. We use advanced isolation techniques and lightweight extensions to ensure your natural lashes remain healthy and intact.

All sets are customised. We map your lashes based on your eye shape, features, and desired outcome, whether that’s soft and subtle, hybrid, or fuller volume.

No. Mascara can break down the adhesive and cause premature shedding. With your new lashes, you won’t need it.

Yes. Certain skin conditions and medications can make brow waxing unsuitable. Contraindications include active acne, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, recent use of retinol, Accutane, or AHA/BHA-based products, as these can increase skin sensitivity and risk of irritation or lifting. If you’re unsure whether brow waxing is suitable for you, please let us know prior to your appointment so we can advise accordingly and adjust your treatment if needed.

Brow waxing cannot be performed if you have:

  • Used over the counter or prescription retinol/retinoids or AHAs/BHAs within 7-14 days prior to your appointment.
  • Undergone a chemical peel within 14 days prior to your appointment.
  • Had microneedling or skin needling within 14 days of your appointment.
  • Taken oral acne medication (such as Accutane) within the past 12 months.

A semi-permanent chemical treatment that gently restructures the brow hairs, allowing them to be styled in a lifted, fuller shape that holds in place. Ideal for achieving a softly brushed-up, editorial finish.

Results last 5-8 weeks with proper aftercare.

Yes. We usually pair lamination with shaping in the same appointment for a complete look.

HD Brows is a bespoke treatment that includes mapping, shaping, tinting, and styling to enhance your natural brow structure with precision and symmetry.

Results last up to 7 days on the skin and 2-4 weeks on the hairs.
